Hand-coloured photograph of a Hungarian sergeant. Many photographers during this period had this as an option to their services to make the B/W copy into a coloured copy for their customers.
With modern digital technique, its easy to restore the original colour even though the old paper-print faded or lost lot of it's original colour-scale.
