This section preserves and presents original military decorations, medal groups, award certificates, recommendation documents and research relating to honours awarded within the Austro-Hungarian Army, the Royal Hungarian Honvéd and later Hungarian armed forces.The archive includes decorations awarded for bravery, distinguished service, campaign participation, military merit and long service. Original award documents, certificates and recipient records provide valuable insight into the circumstances under which these honours were earned.
