" Unaware photography "
Even a snapshot, taken of an unaware Hungarian officer can be of historical interest. The photograph may have been taken for nor reason at all one summer day far away in time. The officer in the photo are recognizable by the two belt pins, as well as the vertical belt strap and the shoulder cord on the right shoulder. At the time, the shoulder cord were only worn on one side but this was changed in 1940 to be used on both side for all branches and officers uniforms. (except air-force and river-force) The officer on the photograph is wearing the light summer uniform witch could be white, light grey and light green depending on the manufacturer since they where mainly custom made for the officers.
