" Three moments from Home "
Among a recent purchase of various Hungarian military photographs, I noticed these three images among a larger group of related photographs. Unfortunately, no names, dates, or identifying information could be found. The location could have been almost anywhere in the Hungarian countryside more than 70 years ago.
Although the identity of the Hungarian Honvéd soldier remains unknown, these three photographs are nevertheless valuable historical documents and fascinating glimpses into a bygone era.
