The Royal Hungarian Armoured Troops represented Hungary's transition into modern mechanized warfare. Equipped with tanks, armoured cars and motorized vehicles, these formations played an increasingly important role in reconnaissance, mobile operations and combat on the Eastern Front during the Second World War.
