The Royal Hungarian Medical Corps was responsible for the care and treatment of wounded and sick military personnel throughout the interwar period and the Second World War. Medical officers, doctors, nurses and support staff served in field hospitals, aid stations and evacuation units, often operating under difficult conditions close to the front lines.
