Branch of Service

The Royal Hungarian Signals Corps formed the communications backbone of the armed forces, ensuring the rapid transmission of orders, intelligence and operational information. Using field telephones, radio equipment and telegraph networks, signal units connected headquarters with front-line formations across all branches of service.

This archive documents the officers, radio operators, communications personnel, equipment and wartime service of Hungary's military signals units through original photographs, documents and historical research.
